How to Access Amazon Channel Settings in Lister
After you’ve connected Amazon to Lister, Amazon settings are found in the admin section of Lister. Only admins and custom roles with access to manage channel settings can view and edit these settings.
- Click the gear icon in the top right navigation menu of Lister to go to the Admin Settings page
- Click “Amazon” under the “Channels” section in the left navigation menu
- Click “Edit settings” next to your Amazon account name
Overview of the Amazon Settings Page
From here, you can edit the following options:
- Account Label: Change how your Amazon account name is displayed in Lister. This is used to help distinguish between accounts in various parts of Lister
- List Immediately: Global option to have all new Amazon listings first appear in the Pending Listings tab of the Listing Manager for manual review and launch. If disabled, all listings must be manually approved. It is highly recommended to leave this checked
- Order import settings: Controls if Lister will import all Amazon orders. We recommend setting this to “Orders originating from Lister” to prevent data integrity issues
- Default Description Footer: Text field to enter a description that will appear at the bottom of every new posting listed to Amazon. Make sure to remove disclaimers from templates if this is enabled
Note: This description will not show on established Amazon listings, only brand new listings never added to the Amazon catalog (by any seller) - Edit Seller Profiles: Import shipping policies and set flat rate shipping (more details below)
- Save: Be sure to click the “Save” button to save any changes made to default settings
Edit Seller Profiles
These settings control your default shipping method for books and media, and your default fixed price shipping rate, used for controlling the scan-to-sort and pricing decision rules.
- Click “Edit Seller Profiles”
- Click the “Sync profiles” button if you have recently updated or need to import your details from Amazon
- Click “Sync” in the pop-up box
- Your shipping profile names will be imported to Lister. Enter the fixed price shipping cost from each profile exactly as it appears in your Amazon seller account
Important: Be sure this is accurately entered, as it is part of the calculations on the accept/reject and repricing logic for ISBN media items! - Set a default Shipping Policy and hide any profiles you do not want to use
Note: Be sure to set your default shipping profile to the same default one in your Amazon Seller Account settings page - Click “Save” at the bottom of the page
