How to handle duties/taxes with international shipping
Written by Aimee Valle
Overview
Incoterm is all about how to handle duties with international shipping. Lister supports the following options:
-
DDP (Delivery Duties Paid by Sender) meaning you as the seller will be covering the costs. This is the default
-
DAP (Duties At Place), also known as DDU, meaning recipient is responsible for any duty incurred.
If you want to pay the duties for your customers use DDP. If you want your customers to pay for duties when they receive the item, use DAP.
