Supported Equipment

Lister supports all Mettler Toledo and Dymo scales with USB connections. We recommend avoiding any scales that have an auto-off feature, as this may cause issues with Lister Connect failing to recognize the device.


Adding Scales to Lister Connect

Lister Connect is required to pass weights from scales to Lister. If Lister Connect is not installed, begin by following this guide.

  1. Ensure the scales are powered on and connected via USB to your computer

  2. Verify Lister Connect is installed and running

  3. Click the green printer icon in the upper right corner of Lister and ensure the correct scales are selected

  4. If the scales are not shown in the dropdown menu, click the refresh button


How to Import Weights on the New Product Page

When listing an item or editing a product, click the scales icon to the right of the weight input to automatically bring in the weight of the item currently on the scale.


How to Import Weights on the New Shipment Page

When creating a shipping label, click the scales icon to the right of the parcel weight input to automatically bring in the weight of the package currently on the scale.


Troubleshooting Steps

If your scale is not importing weights into Lister, please confirm the following:

  1. Ensure the scale is powered on and connected to your computer via USB

  2. Verify the scale is reading the weight on the readout screen

  3. Verify Lister Connect is installed and running

  4. Click the green printer icon in the upper right corner of Lister and ensure the correct scale is selected

  5. If the scale is not shown in the dropdown menu, click the refresh button
